Rennes 1-1 Olympique Lyonnais

Lyon climb above Toulouse into fourth after coming from behind to draw 1-1 with Rennes.

Licha López scored a second-half equaliser as Olympique Lyonnais came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw with Rennes tonight.

The hosts would have moved to within two points of their opponents with victory and took an early lead when Mevlut Erding converted from Julien Féret's pass.

However Lyon displayed some of the good form that has seen them win three consecutive games by responding well and deserved to go into the break level.

Stubborn Rennes defending prevented the visitors from equalising earlier but Lyon did bring the scores level on 76 minutes.

After Kim Kallstrom and Bafetimbi Gomis saw chances saved, Lopez found a way past Benoit Costil to make it 1-1 and secure Lyon a draw.

The result sees climb above Toulouse into fourth while Rennes remain sixth and prevented a third straight loss.
