Real Valladolid sign Stefan Mitrovic

Real Valladolid have signed Serbian defender Stefan Mitrovic on a season-long loan from Benfica.

The deal was announced on Valladolid's official website on Wednesday, with the 23-year-old due to spend the remainder of the season with the La Liga outfit.

It is understood that the centre-back will be unveiled at a press conference on Thursday before linking up with his new teammates.

Mitrovic joined Benfica from Belgian outfit KV Kortrijk in the summer, but is yet to make his first-team debut for the Portuguese outfit.

It is unclear whether the agreement includes an option to buy at the end of the season.
