Real Sociedad 2-0 Real Zaragoza

Real Sociedad have picked up their second win of the season thanks to a 2-0 victory over Real Zaragoza at the Estadio Anoeta.

It took the home side until 10 minutes after the restart to make the breakthrough as Inigo Martinez nodded in Carlos Vela's corner.

Vela got himself on the scoresheet five minutes later when he converted from the penalty spot following Javier Paredes's foul on the former Arsenal forward.

The win has seen Sociedad leap 10 places in the La Liga table up to seventh, while Zaragoza remain 15th.
