Report: Cristiano Ronaldo still struggling with a thigh problem

Portugal attacker Cristiano Ronaldo continues to undergo treatment on a thigh injury with the World Cup fast approaching.

Cristiano Ronaldo's fitness for the World Cup is reportedly becoming an increasing concern for Portugal boss Paulo Bento.

The European nation begin their Group G campaign against Germany on June 16, leaving the Ballon d'Or winner with more than two weeks to recover from a thigh problem.

However, the issue, which forced Ronaldo to miss a number of matches for Real Madrid in the latter part of the 2013-14 campaign, is still troubling the attacker.

According to Football Espana, Ronaldo has been undergoing heavy treatment over the last few days and is not currently able to partake in training.

Portugal have upcoming friendlies against Mexico and Republic of Ireland.
