Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek rules out January move to Real Madrid

Van de Beek rules out January exit

Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek has revealed that he will not look to secure a transfer to another club during the January window.

After helping Ajax to the Champions League semi-finals last season, Van de Beek was heavily linked with a switch to Real Madrid before the summer deadline of September 2.

The Spanish giants allegedly remain keen on the Netherlands international, although the 22-year-old has stated that he has no intention of leaving his current team before the end of the campaign.

Van de Beek told Voetbal: "I will finish the season at Ajax. At Real Madrid, they already know that. I do not like to change teams midway through the season."

The playmaker has continued to make a positive impact this season, contributing seven goals from 11 appearances in all competitions.
