Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos in the January transfer window.
The Spaniard is still at the Santiago Bernabeu despite being on the verge of completing a move to Marseille in the latter stages of the summer transfer market.
However, a move to the French side ultimately fell through, with Marseille president Pablo Longoria admitting that Ceballos had "doubts" over the proposed move.
Ceballos will ultimately remain part of Xabi Alonso's squad until at least the new year, but he could be given a fresh opportunity to leave when the transfer window reopens in January.
Juventus eyeing Ceballos move
According to Fichajes, Italian giants Juventus have emerged as a potential suitor for the 29-year-old midfielder.
The report claims that Ceballos are weighing up a potential January move, believing that Ceballos has the ability to be an 'immediate asset' for the club.
They are seemingly keen to add to Igor Tudor's central-midfield options, which currently include Manuel Locatelli, Khephren Thuram, Weston McKennie and Fabio Miretti.
Juventus could also make an effort to sign another player from the Spanish capital, with the Italian giants said to be keen on signing Atletico Madrid right-back Nahuel Molina.
When, not if, Ceballos leaves Real Madrid
Ceballos has been a Real Madrid player since 2017, although he spent two seasons on loan at Arsenal from 2019 to 2021.
The 29-year-old has made 195 appearances during his time with Los Blancos, contributing seven goals and 16 assists.
However, he has had to settle for substitute appearances in each of Real Madrid's opening three La Liga matches of the season.
Ceballos is behind Aurelien Tchouameni, Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, and Jude Bellingham in the pecking order at the Santiago Bernabeu.
As a result, it only seems a matter of time until Ceballos parts ways with Los Blancos despite being under contract until June 2027.
