Robert Lewandowski 'open to Real Madrid move'

Robert Lewandowski 'open to Real Madrid move'

Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski is reportedly open to moving to Real Madrid during the summer transfer window.

The Poland international has enjoyed a legendary career at the Allianz Arena, scoring 294 goals from just 329 appearances and winning silverware on a regular basis.

However, at the age of 32 and having spent 11 years in Germany, it appears that the player is eyeing up a new challenge.

According to AS, Lewandowski's preference would be a switch to the Bernabeu at some point in the near future.

Keen not to lose their best player for a cut-price fee or on a free transfer, Bayern are said to be considering long-term replacements for their talisman.

Lewandowski still has two years remaining on his contract with the Bundesliga champions.
