Report: Diego Llorente bound for Rayo Vallecano

Real Madrid defender Diego Llorente has reportedly agreed a season-long loan switch to Rayo Vallecano.

It is believed that Rayo have been long-term admirers of the 21-year-old, having made an approach for his services 12 months ago and last January.

However, on Llorente's insistence, Madrid have accepted a third proposal, which will see the centre-back spend the upcoming campaign at the Campo de Futbol de Vallecas, according to AS.

Llorente, who joined Madrid as a trainee in 2002, is expected to travel to Germany shortly, where he will meet his new teammates at their pre-season training camp.
