Real Madrid's plans for the remainder of the summer transfer market 'revealed'

Real Madrid are reportedly not planning to be active in the final stages of the transfer window, with senior figures at Bernabeu, including head coach Jose Mourinho, happy with the club's business.

Los Blancos have brought six new players to Bernabeu this summer, with Yan Diomande, Marc Cucurella, Carlos Espi, Denzel Dumfries, Ibrahima Konate and Bernardo Silva joining the club.

Meanwhile, there have been nine exits, with Gonzalo Garcia, Cesar Palacios, Fran Garcia, Mario Martin, Fran Gonzalez, Franco Mastantuono, Dani Ceballos, Dani Carvajal and David Alaba moving on, either on a permanent basis or on loan.

There has been speculation surrounding the futures of a number of first-team players of late, with Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni both linked with departures.

However, it would be a major surprise if either left at this stage of the market.

Real Madrid 'not planning' further transfer business

Real Madrid have also managed to sign Vinicius Junior to a new long-term contract amid interest from Arsenal, so it has been a successful window for the club.

According to AS, Real Madrid chiefs are happy with the club's summer business, and there is not expected to be any first-team movement in or out in the latter stages of the market.

Los Blancos opened their 2026-27 La Liga campaign with a 2-1 victory over Espanyol on Saturday, with new signing Espi scoring the winning goal late on.

Real Madrid will now be bidding to make it back-to-back wins at the start of their new season when they take on Real Madrid at Bernabeu on Wednesday night.

Are there any weak areas in the Real Madrid squad?

In truth, it is not a surprise that Real Madrid are happy with their current squad, as head coach Mourinho has an incredibly talented group of players available to him.

Espi and Diomande have boosted an attack which already includes the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham and Arda Guler, while the defence has been strengthened with the arrivals of Cucurella, Dumfries and Konate.

Real Madrid did attempt to sign Rodri from Manchester City earlier this summer, but the Spaniard has since made the switch to Barcelona.

Los Blancos are not planning to bring in another central midfielder, though, as Tchouameni and Camavinga are both set to stay.
