Real Madrid are reportedly considering a move for Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi at the end of the season.
The Mirror says that Napoli, who made a bid for the Argentine forward in the January transfer window, could be joined by Los Blancos in the race for the 24-year-old's signature.
Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis is allegedly a long-term admirer of Icardi, and told AS that a move for the striker would improve the player's record in front of goal.
"Icardi will score 40 [goals] a season here under [manager Maurizio] Sarri and can become like Cristiano Ronaldo," he said.
Spanish giants Madrid are reportedly on the hunt for a new striker to replace Karim Benzema at the Bernabeu.
