Real Madrid reportedly have no plans to keep hold of James Rodriguez this summer despite the Colombian international receiving a Spanish passport.
James - currently on an extended loan at Bayern Munich - will no longer take up one of the non-EU spots in the Madrid squad, having gained a Spanish passport ahead of the 2019-2020 campaign.
However, according to Marca, the 27-year-old is not wanted by Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane next season and could therefore be sold on a permanent deal in this summer's transfer window.
The South American netted 11 times in 33 matches for Los Blancos during the 2016-17 season before moving to the Allianz Arena on a two-year loan.
Since arriving at Bayern, James - previously linked with a switch to the Premier League - has contributed 15 goals and 20 assists in 64 appearances in all competitions.
