Karim Benzema admits that he could one day leave Real Madrid and sign for Paris Saint-Germain.

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has refused to rule out the possibility of him one day joining Paris Saint-Germain.

Recent reports have linked the French international with a return to his homeland at the end of the current campaign.

However, despite admitting that he could potentially sign for Les Parisiens at some stage, the 25-year-old has insisted that he is keen to remain with Madrid for the foreseeable future.

"Right now, I'm in the best team of the world. I'm taking things year by year. A transfer to Paris? Maybe later but not today," the centre-forward told Telefoot.

Benzema made the switch to the Spanish capital in the summer of 2009 from Lyon.
