Report: Zinedine Zidane to stay on as Real Madrid boss next season

Zinedine Zidane is reportedly set to stay on as Real Madrid manager and could be offered a new deal by the Spanish giants.

The 48-year-old is in his second spell as Madrid boss and is under contract at the Bernabeu until the end of next season.

Los Blancos have endured a largely disappointing campaign, leading to questions over whether Zidane would even see out the duration of 2020-21.

According to French outlet Telefoot, however, Madrid chiefs are happy to give the Frenchman another full season in charge

The same report indicates that a new deal has not been ruled out by Madrid, although that depends on results.

Zidane has been tipped to take over as France head coach once Didier Deschamps steps down, likely after the 2022 World Cup.
