How Real Madrid could line up against Juventus

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti will make changes to his side for the team's final pre-season friendly of the summer against Juventus on Saturday night.

Speaking after the 2-2 draw with Club America last time out, Ancelotti said that he will "reduce the workload for the players" in the next game, as he prepares for the UEFA Super Cup against Eintracht Frankfurt on August 10.

There will be a number of changes to the side that took to the field for the first whistle last time out, with Thibaut Courtois, David Alaba, Eder Militao, Federico Valverde, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga and Rodrygo all expected to come back in for the Spanish and European champions.

Ancelotti also said after the match with Club America that he is expecting to have Dani Carvajal available for selection against Juventus, with the Spaniard recently absent due to an ankle complaint.

Ferland Mendy was a fitness doubt ahead of the game with the Mexican side after picking up an issue in training, but he was able to play the opening 45 minutes and should again feature here.

Karim Benzema was on the scoresheet in his first appearance of the summer, and the France international is likely to play another 45 minutes here.

Vinicius Junior should again start off the left, with Rodrygo replacing Marco Asensio on the right, while Toni Kroos, Casemiro, Luka Modric are set to be rested from the first whistle.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Courtois; Carvajal, Militao, Alaba, Mendy; Valverde, Tchouameni, Camavinga; Rodrygo, Benzema, Vinicius
