Cristiano Ronaldo limps off with apparent injury

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo comes off early in today's Liga match against Real Valladolid, sparking fears that he has suffered a hamstring injury.

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has had to come off early in today's La Liga match against Real Valladolid at the Jose Zorilla.

Looking in discomfort and unable to continue after just 10 minutes played, the Portuguese had to be replaced by Alvaro Morata.

Ronaldo appeared to punch the bench in frustration as he headed off the pitch, with early reports suggesting that the 29-year-old has a hamstring injury.

The World Cup finals, taking place in Brazil, kick off in just 36 days.
