Spanish right-back Alvaro Arbeloa was reportedly the cause of an injury to Real Madrid teammate Gareth Bale earlier in the season.
It has been claimed that the Welshman's absence in October was due to a late challenge from Arbeloa in training, which caused a 'numb and blackened leg'.
Cadena SER has also speculated that Arbeloa's involvement was covered up by Madrid due to the defender's previous history of injuring teammates throughout his career.
Bale struggled for fitness in the early stages of his career in Spain after missing pre-season with former club Tottenham Hotspur, but has scored nine goals in 16 games this season.
