Real Madrid president Florentino Perez claims that 2012 was a successful year for his club, but wants them to achieve more success in 2013.

Florentino Perez has insisted that Real Madrid need to "win everything" this season.

The Madrid president says that he is happy with the team's performance over the past 12 months, but wants Jose Mourinho's side to achieve more success this campaign.

"Real Madrid have had a good past year," Perez told reporters. "We reached the semi-finals of the Champions League and won La Liga, breaking all the records.

"But at Madrid that is not enough – we have to win everything. The club has economic and institutional strength.

"This year has been especially hard, more than any other I've known – and football is not immune. But Madrid are also doing well in terms of income."

Madrid last won the Champions League in 2002.
