Alvaro Morata: 'It is tough for Jese Rodriguez'

Juventus forward Alvaro Morata warns Jese Rodriguez that the Spaniard will find it difficult to secure a regular first-team spot at Real Madrid.

Juventus forward Alvaro Morata has warned Jese Rodriguez that he will find it difficult to secure a regular first-team role at Real Madrid.

Jese burst onto the scene at the Bernabeu last season, netting eight times in 31 games for the Spanish side up until March 2013, when he suffered a serious knee injury.

The 22-year-old returned to fitness earlier in the season, but has not started a single league game since due to the presence of Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo, who are commonly referred to as the 'BBC'.

"It's tough competing with the BBC. Jese can do well, but if there's a forward shining abroad, Real Madrid will want to sign him," Morata told Onda Cero.

Morata also struggled to make the breakthrough at Real Madrid and consequently departed for Juventus last summer.
