Real Madrid close in on La Liga title

Real Madrid will be crowned the champions of Spain if they record a victory from their trip to Athletic Bilbao this evening.

Los Blancos are currently seven points clear of rivals Barcelona at the top of the La Liga table with three matches remaining.

As a result, a win may not be required for Madrid to claim their 32nd league title.

All Jose Mourinho's side have to do is match the result Barca achieve from their home encounter against Malaga later today.

Madrid have not won the league since 2008.
