Real Madrid playmaker Kaka has insisted that the race for the Spanish first division title this season is not over.

Los Blancos are eight points behind leaders Barcelona in fifth place in La Liga after seven rounds of matches.

"The eight-point gap is still worrying but slightly less so after playing at Camp Nou," Kaka is quoted as saying by Marca.

"It cannot be said that the title race is over, of course it can't. There's a lot left to play for and we are going to fight to the end."

Barcelona are unbeaten in the league this season and have picked up 19 points.
