Fernando Hierro: Coaching is in Raul's skin

Spain legend Fernando Hierro has said that former Real Madrid teammate and striker Raul will make a great coach in the future.

Hierro, who starred at the Santiago Bernabeu alongside Raul for a total of nine seasons, has backed the Spaniard to succeed with new team Al Sadd after spending two seasons with German outfit Schalke 04.

"Raul is going to be a great coach," he told Marca. "[Coaching] has been in his skin since he was 20. He likes to talk, direct, plan.

"Give him some time. He is an expample to all, what it means to be a professional."

Raul made over 550 appearances for Real Madrid in 16 seasons at the club.
