Pep Guardiola claims that Barcelona do not complain about referees.

Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola has claimed that his side do not complain about referees and their decisions.

The Catalan giants have been very critical of the standard of refereeing in Spain in recent weeks.

President Sandro Rosell has said that match officials have been damaging Barcelona's league form all season, while Xavi and Lionel Messi have also made comments regarding some of the decisions that have gone against them.

"Barca do not complain about referees," said Guardiola.

"But a different thing is to say if in this or that situation we could have been awarded a penalty. If that is complaining, then we complain.

"I get annoyed when referees make mistakes which damage us, but then I think, 'They made a mistake. I represent a club and I know that tomorrow, in another decision, maybe they will favour us. And I have to live with it."

Barcelona are currently seven points adrift of Real Madrid in the race for La Liga title.
