Long-standing Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has admitted that it hurts his "little heart" to be the subject of boos from the club's supporters.
The 33-year-old was subjected to jeers by the home fans in the Blancos' 2-1 defeat to Madrid rivals Atletico at the Bernabeu last month.
Casillas was linked with a move away in the summer, a primary factor in the perceived hostility, but the Spain stopper - with Real since the age of nine - says that he is keen to end his career as a one-club man.
"It hurts to hear whistles," he told Canal+. "I have been here since I was nine years old, I have done many things with this club and it has also been a springboard to the national team for me.
"The public are free to do what they want but it also hurts. Being here so long also means I have to accept certain things. Fans are demanding, I know it and accept it, but I have my little heart and it hurts when my loyalty is questioned.
"I intend to end my career at Real Madrid. I do not like to imagine my life without this club. This is my home and I feel like I was raised here."
Casillas made his Real Madrid debut in September 1999 and has since clocked 686 appearances, leaving him third in the club's all-time list.
