Carlo Ancelotti: 'I am in full control'

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti says that he would leave his position with Los Blancos if he ever lost full control of team affairs.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that he has full control of team affairs at the Bernabeu.

Pressure from above has occurred at Madrid in previous years, while the influence of chairman is growing in modern football.

However, Ancelotti has said that he has the final say on matters regarding team selection.

"I've worked with presidents who are intelligent enough not to ask a coach to pick one player or another," he told Radio Cope.

"If [Florentino Perez] ever asked me then I could leave."

Ancelotti won a Champions League and Copa del Rey double during his first season in charge of Madrid last term.
