Foot injury sidelines Real Madrid's Pepe

Real Madrid have confirmed that centre-back Pepe has been hampered by a foot complaint.

The injury forced the Portuguese international to miss the 6-0 victory over Espanyol at the weekend.

Los Blancos have not revealed the extent of the damage and have also provided no timescale as to the potential length of the 32-year-old's absence.

Pepe has made 17 appearances in all competitions for Madrid this season.
