Half-Time Report: Real Madrid 2-0 Mallorca

La Liga champions Real Madrid are on course to end the season on 100 points as they currently hold a 2-0 half-time lead over Mallorca at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The hosts, who dominanted the opening half from the first whistle, went ahead on 19 minutes when Cristiano Ronaldo nodded in a powerful back-post header from Marcelo's cross.

Madrid's lead was doubled just minutes later as Karim Benzema calmly slotted in from Gonzalo Higuain's neat pass.

Despite plenty of possession after their two quick goals, Los Blancos were unable to add to their tally before the break.
