How Real Madrid could line up against Osasuna

How Real Madrid could line up against Osasuna

Real Madrid returned to winning ways on Sunday with a much-needed 1-0 victory over Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Karim Benzema's second-half header gave Los Blancos a priceless victory over their former manager Julen Lopetegui, and helped to lift the gloom surrounding Zinedine Zidane.

Osasuna have been the surprise package in La Liga so far; Jagoba Arrasate's side remarkably remain unbeaten after six matches.

This included an extremely impressive 2-2 draw with reigning champions Barcelona back in August.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Real Madrid could line up for Wednesday's match.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has made no secret of the fact that he would have liked the transfer window to go a little differently.

The Frenchman has indicated that he wanted to sign Paul Pogba, and wanted to sell Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez.

However, now that the window is over Zidane has managed to reintegrate the pair back into the fold and both are likely to start once again against Osasuna on Wednesday night.

Zidane is likely to name an unchanged team after finally seeing an improved performance against Sevilla. This would again see Ferland Mendy deputising for the injured Marcelo as the Spanish giants seek to hand Osasuna their first defeat of the season in La Liga.
