Team News: Luka Modric, Sergio Ramos start for Real Madrid in El Clasico

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti hands starts to both Luka Modric and Sergio Ramos against Barcelona at the Camp Nou.

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has handed starts to both Luka Modric and Sergio Ramos for the El Clasico with Barcelona at the Camp Nou.

Both have been absent recently with injuries, but they provide a boost for the visitors as Modric starts alongside Isco and Toni Kroos in midfield.

Raphael Varane misses out at the back as Ramos takes his place at centre-back to form a four-man defence with Dani Carvajal, Marcelo and Pepe.

The injury to Sergio Busquets means that Javier Mascherano starts in midfield, while Jeremy Mathieu partners Gerard Pique in the centre of defence for the hosts.

It's a predictable front three from Luis Enrique as Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar all start in attack.

Barcelona: Bravo, Alves, Pique, Mathieu, Alba, Mascherano, Iniesta, Rakitic, Neymar, Suarez, Messi

Real Madrid: Casillas, Carvajal, Pepe, Ramos, Marcelo, Kroos, Modric, Isco, Bale, Benzema, Ronaldo
