How Real Madrid could line up against Braga

Real Madrid will be missing four players for Tuesday's Champions League clash against Braga, with the match coming too soon for Arda Guler.

The Turkey international is now back in training after recovering from a thigh problem which he suffered during the latter stages of his recovery from a knee operation, but he has not been included in the squad for this game.

Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao are long-term absentees due to serious knee injuries, while Dani Ceballos picked up a muscular problem in training towards the end of last week, which saw him miss Saturday's 1-1 draw with Sevilla in La Liga.

David Alaba was back from a groin problem against Sevilla and came through the match unscathed, so he should again be in the starting side for this contest.

Nacho, who is currently serving a league suspension, is also available, but he is likely to be on the bench.

Eduardo Camavinga could get the nod at left-back for this match despite the availability of Ferland Mendy and Fran Garcia in that area of the field.

Luka Modric is again likely to be on the bench, with Toni Kroos featuring in midfield, while head coach Carlo Ancelotti has a big decision to make in the final third of the field.

Vinicius Junior is a certainty, leaving Rodrygo and Joselu to battle for the other spot, and the former is just expected to get the nod despite only scoring once in all competitions this season.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Kepa; Carvajal, Rudiger, Alaba, Camavinga; Kroos, Tchouameni, Valverde; Bellingham; Rodrygo, Vinicius
