Kwadwo Asamoah admits difficulties

Juventus defender Kwadwo Asamoah admits that Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale caused him problems in Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Real Madrid.

Juventus defender Kwadwo Asamoah has admitted that "it was tough" to face Real Madrid's Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo on Tuesday.

Both Madrid forwards were on the scoresheet in the 2-2 draw in the Champions League, but Asamoah was happy with his overall performance against the Spanish outfit.

"We did well tonight against a great team. It wasn't easy, but we did the right things," he told Sky Sport Italia.

"It was tough against players like Ronaldo and Bale, with such pace and technique, but I did what I had to. I saw that when Carlos Tevez cut in, there was space for me to push forward, so we could create some chances."

The result leaves Juventus bottom of Group B on three points.
