Carlo Ancelotti names 22-man squad

Cristiano Ronaldo returns to the Real Madrid squad for Wednesday's Champions League last-16 first leg against Schalke 04 in Germany.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has named his 22-man squad for the first leg of the Champions League last-16 clash against Schalke 04 on Wednesday evening.

Cristiano Ronaldo has missed Los Blancos' last three league matches through suspension, but will return to the XI in Germany tomorrow night.

Luka Modric and Sergio Ramos also both sat out the 3-0 win over Elche at the weekend, but return to a squad that also includes Brazilian midfielder Casemiro and Spanish centre-back Nacho.

Left-backs Marcelo and Fabio Coentrao have also been included despite recent injury complaints.
