Reading sign Andrija Novakovich

Championship side Reading have completed the addition of American striker Andrija Novakovich.

The 18-year-old, who recently had a trial period with the Royals, has signed on from Marquette University.

"It was a bittersweet decision and I am so grateful for the guidance and help of my coach and the soccer staff have given me," said the centre-forward.

"Signing the letter of intent to play at Marquette was a proud point for me, and I will forever consider myself a Golden Eagle."

Novakovich is expected to spend next season in the academy under the management of Eamonn Dolan.
