American teenager Andrija Novakovich joins Reading

Teenager Andrija Novakovich has completed his move to Championship side Reading.

The American forward, 18, joins the Royals from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

"It was an offer that I couldn't really refuse," Novakovich told the club website.

"I am just following my dreams and doing what I love. I really liked the staff at Reading. Once I got there, I enjoyed the training sessions.

"It was just a really, really great atmosphere for me."

Novakovich, of Serbian descent, stands at 6'3" and recently scored twice in one game for the United States' Under-20s.
