Team News: Jay Tabb given debut for Ipswich Town against Reading

Ipswich Town have given a debut to former Reading player Jay Tabb in this afternoon's Championship clash at the Madejski Stadium.

The midfielder will start alongside fellow summer signing Cole Skuse. Goalkeeper Dean Gerken, a recruit from Bristol City, is on the bench.

Meanwhile, David McGoldrick has been chosen to partner former Celtic player Daryl Murphy upfront.

For the hosts, manager Nigel Adkins has handed debuts to former Real Madrid winger Royston Drenthe and Wayne Bridge.

Adam Le Fondre, the Royals' top scorer last season, has been chosen ahead of Pavel Pogrebnyak.
