Reading have announced that a takeover by Thames Sports Investment for 51% of the club has been completed.
The deal has been in motion in recent months and after officially meeting all the Premier League and Football League criteria, the acquisition has gone through.
The Royals have confirmed that Anton Zingarevich, who owns Thames Sports Investment, Christopher Samuelson and Andre Obolensky have been added to the board of directors, while chief executive Nigel Howe has been introduced with Ian Wood-Smith retaining his position within the club.
"The Football Club and TSI would like to thank both the Premier League and Football League for their assistance, and we now enter another bright new era for our historic club, back in the Barclays Premier League," a statement read on the club's official website.
Reading will begin their new season in the top flight alongside Southampton and West Ham United.
