Karacan hails "great" performance

Reading midfielder Jem Karacan has heaped praise on his side's performance in their 3-2 win over Queens Park Rangers in the League Cup tonight.

The Royals were forced to come from behind twice in order to book their place in the fourth round, where they will face Arsenal.

Karacan was quick to praise the fans and his teammates as well as expressing his excitement ahead of Reading's match against Newcastle United this weekend.

"Great support tonight & a great performance from the boys, through to the next round! Arsenal at home! Looking forward to newcastle sat now!" the 23-year-old wrote on Twitter.

Reading currently sit bottom of the Premier League having picked up just one point in their opening four games.
