Rangers close to signing Albanian winger?

Rangers have reportedly moved to the brink of completing the signing of Osijek winger Eros Grezda.

Manager Steven Gerrard has been active throughout the summer transfer window, but a long-term injury to Jamie Murphy has resulted in the Liverpool legend needing to re-enter the market for a wideman.

According to the Scottish Daily Mail, Rangers have identified Grezda as Murphy's replacement and are prepared to pay in the region of £2m for the player.

The report claims that discussions have already been held between the 23-year-old and the Scottish giants, and a deal is expected to go through before the end of the month.

Grezda - who has earned six caps for Albania - has contributed five goals in 26 appearances during his year with Osijek.
