Rangers have begun talks with Kyle Lafferty over a new contract.
The 24-year-old's current deal expires at the end of next season, but boss Ally McCoist has made it clear that he wants him to stay at the club.
More talks with the striker and his representatives are planned for the coming weeks.
Lafferty moved to Ibrox in 2008 from Burnley for around £3.5m.
