Bilel Mohsni joins Rangers on trial

Former Southend defender Bilel Mohsni has joined Rangers on trial.

The Frenchman links up with the Scottish club for their Highland tour, during which they will play friendlies against Brora Rangers and Elgin City.

"No talks about any potential deal have taken place and the arrangement is simply a trial as things stand," said Rangers in a statement.

Mohsni, who made 80 appearances during a three-year stint at Southend, completed a loan spell at Ipswich Town last season and has previously been linked with West Ham United.
