Striker Harry Forrester has been handed a two-year contract by Iranian side Tractor Sazi.
On Wednesday, Rangers announced that they had agreed to let Forrester leave the club by mutual consent, and the Englishman has already secured a move to another team.
The 27-year-old has opted to make the switch to Asia to represent Tractor Sazi, who are managed by former Wales and Real Madrid coach John Toshack.
Forrester has penned a two-year contract with the Red Wolves, who only finished in 10th place in the league standings last season.
The attacker spent the most recent campaign on loan at AFC Wimbledon, where he netted three goals in 36 games in League One.
