Rangers goalkeeper Steve Simonsen has been handed a two-match ban by the Scottish Football Association for breaching gambling rules.
The 35-year-old was accused of betting on 55 football matches over two separate periods, including 37 games this season.
Simonsen will serve an immediate one-match suspension, making him unavailable for the Scottish Championship fixture against Hibernian on Friday, with the second being suspended until the end of the current campaign.
Both the player and the SFA can appeal against the judgement should they wish.
