Rangers suspend Miller, Wallace

Rangers have suspended two of their most senior players, Lee Wallace and Kenny Miller, following a dressing-room bust-up with manager Graeme Murty.

Veteran forward Miller and club captain Wallace are under investigation over the incident and are not expected to play again this season, reports Sky Sports News.

The pair are said to have been involved in an angry exchange with their head coach in the wake of their 4-0 defeat to bitter rivals Celtic in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup at Hampden Park last weekend.

Miller may have played his final game for the club, with his contract due to expire at the end of the season, while Wallace has one year remaining on his deal.

The striker was an unused substitute in the defeat to Celtic and Wallace did not feature through injury.
