Rangers midfielder Ian Black has been handed a 10-match ban from the Scottish Football Association for breaching betting rules.
The 28-year-old was accused of gambling on 160 games while at Inverness, Hearts and Rangers, including three alleged bets against his own team.
After facing an SFA judicial panel today, it has emerged that the midfielder will serve an immediate three-match ban with seven games suspended as part of the punishment.
Black, who has also been fined £7,500, is said to have answered the charge by letter a fortnight ago after a bookmaker reported his betting activity to the SFA.
