Kyle Bartley ruled out for six weeks with injury

A double hernia operation has ruled on-loan Glasgow Rangers defender Kyle Bartley out of action for up to six weeks.

The 20-year-old, who joined the Gers on a temporary basis from Arsenal last month, was forced off with the injury during Rangers' 2-0 victory away at Inverness Caledonian Thistle in August.

Bartley has entered his second spell at Ibrox, having spent last season with the Scottish champions on a season-long loan deal.
