Administrators step up Rangers takeover

Administrators at Glasgow Rangers have told three bidders to make their final offers for the club by Wednesday, April 4.

Five parties had originally submitted bids for the Scottish champions following their move into administration.

However, Duff and Phelps have now asked three of those to deliver their "best and final offers" by next week.

Sale Sharks owner Brian Kennedy pulled out of the running to take over the club on Thursday.
