Administrators close to agreeing Rangers pay cuts

Administrators are reportedly close to agreeing a pay deal with Rangers players that would see staggered wage cuts at the club.

It is understood that the wage cuts would be staggered in the region of 75%, 50% and 25% depending on the earnings of the individual player.

The move would potentially buy around three months of time as administrators look for savings of £1m per month, according to Sky Sports News.

Talks are understood to be ongoing.
