West Brom, Palace eye Zamora?

West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace are reportedly keen on signing Bobby Zamora from Queens Park Rangers before the end of the January transfer window.

The 33-year-old striker has been told by QPR manager Harry Redknapp that he can leave, and, according to SportsDirect News, this has sparked Premier League interest in him.

Palace manager Tony Pulis is looking for a striker before Friday's deadline and is attracted by Zamora's experience in the English top flight.

Baggies boss Pepe Mel is also said to be contemplating a move for the former Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United forward, having been unable to sign Ruben Castro from his former club Real Betis.

Zamora joined QPR from Fulham in January 2012.
