Watford loan Gabriele Angella to Queens Park Rangers for rest of season

Queens Park Rangers have completed the season-long loan signing of Italian defender Gabriele Angella from Watford.

The 26-year-old moves back to the Championship where he helped Watford win automatic promotion last season.

He has not made a single Premier League appearance since, though, so Watford have sent him out on loan for regular first-team football.

QPR head coach Chris Ramsey told the club website: "We've got decent competition now in the back four and Gabriele's experience, especially at a level where he was promoted with Watford last season, will be a big positive for us."

Angella joined Watford from Udinese two years ago, scoring 10 goals in 82 appearances for the Hornets.
