Queens Park Rangers are reportedly close to signing defender Danny Simpson.
The 26-year-old is available on a free transfer after failing to renew his contract with Newcastle United.
The full-back is expected to complete a move to Loftus Road before the start of the season, according to the Daily Mail.
Simpson joined Newcastle from Manchester United in 2010.
