Report: QPR reject Derby approach for duo

Queens Park Rangers have reportedly turned down an approach by Derby County to take either Junior Hoilett or Matt Phillips on loan.

The Championship promotion hopefuls are looking to sign a winger following the early end to Jordon Ibe's loan spell from Liverpool.

Hoilett and Phillips have failed to hold down regular first-team spots under Hoops manager Harry Redknapp this season, following promotion to the Premier League.

According to BBC Radio Derby, the Rams have failed with a bid to sign the pair on a temporary basis.

The players have started just 11 Premier League games between them this term.
